Hello,
We got NPEs due to IOSession.getRemoteAddress() returning null.
Would it be possible to modify its javadoc to mention that null is a
possible return value?
For completeness, the following methods can also potentially return null:
- IOSession.getHandler()
- IOSession.poll()
- It's more obvious for this one, but it is still worth highlighting
- IOSession.getRemoteAddress()
- IOSession.getLocalAddress()
Do you prefer to handle this within your team, or should I submit a PR on
github?
