I realize not everyone is in a position to do so (especially library folks), but we switched to JDK 5 a long time ago and have never looked back.

Folks, How do you feel about having a Java5 specific module in HttpCore? I have started working on SSL support for HttpCore NIO and there is simply no home for that code at the moment. I could ask Synapse folks if they wanted to host it. At the same time I suspect there inevitably will be other cases we we might need Java5 features, for instance, a number of wrapper classes around java.util.concurrent classes that implement HttpCore concurrent interfaces. What do you think?
