Martin We would like to grant Asankha C. Perera commit rights for the HttpComponets project. Asankha is already an ASF committer with Webservices TLP. We held a semi-informal vote on the httpcomponets-dev list and it passed with 4 binding +1, one non-binding +1 and no other votes [1]. Concerns have been raised that the vote could be seen as inconclusive because it was not held on jakarta-general. Do you think we should re-vote? What should be our next steps? Please advise.
