Error generating points, matchpoint.exe dies

Bug description:
When I try to autogenerate points for a set of images I see this (between
other rows of infos) in the window
Can't spawn "cmd.exe": No such file or directory at
/loader/0x86de2c/matchpoint-complete.pl line 38.
and I also see that matchpoint.exe is dying with this error
AppName: matchpoint.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: matchpoint.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000c0641
This seem to happen with more than 6 images
