I am also experiencing this issue, I have seen that 2010.2.0 does work on Lion, and will check the 2010.4.0 and 2011.0.0 on OS X Lion and report back.

I have tested all the Detectors I have installed. Align_image_stack is usable (both "linear" and "FullFrameFisheye"), but it is abnormally slow and only works on half the images I've tested.
