1. I was confirming that even on the first save, the simple mode selects my documents folder, not the folder of the images. This was an addendum to what I originally wrote.
2. I checked that pref before I submitted this report. It contains only a field to change the temp folder, and options for naming files. This is standard behavior. Upon clicking "Create panorama..." the assistant opens up my Documents folder, instead of the last folder I used to save a pano (minutes before).
