I can't reproduce the issue. When open a new project it is correctly
displayed.

Steps:
Put Hugin in simple mode or show the fast preview window.
Hide the overview.
Open a project.
Open another project, the preview is updated but it looks like it uses the
field of view, canvas size and/or crop of the previous project.
