Agree.

So I guess GSOC integration has invalidated the SDK?  Because release
0.7.0 still builds on the SDK I downloaded almost a year ago.

Anybody who wants to build their own SDK for Windows should have their
head examined -- or switch to Linux and get on with life. :>  What I
mean is, this is a monstrous job, because you have to build all the
dependencies with one compiler for one target library.  And it keeps
getting more insanely complex as the hugin codebase grows like, dare I
say it, some unregulated midWestern suburb.  Maybe it is time to take
a hard look at radically "simplicating" hugin -- perhaps as a whole
new implementation.
