First of all, while you may not have realized this, it is considered to be impolite to send the same message to a mailing list twice. You should send your message and wait for an answer. Some people will tell you to wait a week, but you should at least wait a day or two. Most people working on Open Source are doing so as volunteers so they are busy and cannot always respond right away. Second: I have already given you an answer privately when you wrote to me before posting to the mailing list. I asked you to introduce yourself to the community, and have given you a link to specific instructions to follow. Repeating the email you sent me privately in the community is not an introduction. An introduction should say at least who you are and what motivates you. Here are a few examples of good introductions: <http://groups.google.com/group/hugin-ptx/msg/c2c26ed1f7d7ec16> <http://groups.google.com/group/hugin-ptx/msg/0e9934f639e09860> and here is the link I sent you, with the instructions to get started: <http://panospace.wordpress.com/2009/03/26/last-minute/> yes, there is scope for improvement on the control point generator. We had a project in 2007 for feature detection and one in 2008 for feature matching and now we'd need to glue them together into a robust system. Do you think you can help?
