+1. My TIFF files are on a network drive. Maybe on a local drive, and 
with a larger default cache memory (75MB is kind of ridiculous 
nowadays?) it is less of a problem.

The one thing that I'd change is that when the fast preview is closed, 
so should the listeners that do the reload.
