Hi Mac users,

I just published a hugin 0.8.0 RC3 bundle and a PTBatcherGUI 0.8.0 RC3
bundle.

See changelog for RC3 at <
http://groups.google.com/group/hugin-ptx/browse_thread/thread/1f17b248ec4bdc04
>.

As I have the idea that quite some (most?) OX users don't know what
PTBatcherGUI is, I will explain it here.
In Hugin you prepare your projects until the final step: the "Stitch Now"
step. This stitching step can take a lot of time. PTBatcherGui now is a
"bulk processor" for hugin projects. You create a number of projects and
save them.
You open PTBatcherGui just before you go to bed or to work or whatever. You
add the prepared projects (1..n) and let PTBatcherGui crunch them one after
another. You can also continue to work in the foreground on a new Hugin
project and when you're finished, you can add that to the (already) running
PTBatcherGui queue.
*(And yes: I know you can run multiple instances of Hugin as long as you
rename them or launch them from another location, which also means that you
can let one instance stitch and do your project preparation in the other
instance).*
*
Note:* There is currently one "button" in hugin that doesn't work and
that's the "Save project and send to batch" button in the Stitch panel. You
have to save the poject and add it manually, inside PTBatcherGUI, to the
queue.
*Note 2:* Unfortunately PTBatcherGUI still only works on Leopard.
