hi, i recently discovered the lambert equal area azimuthal project, it produces a very pleasing image. :) i am having a problem with it though. if i chop off the top and bottom of the final image (by changing the height of the pano) the pano appears ok, albeit it isn't circular. if i modify the height to match the width, to hopefully produce a fully circular pano, the final pano has several black areas, where it appears images are missing. all of the remapped images look correct.
as a test case, i have been stitching the same image set at a width of 5000 pixels. at a height of 5000, 4975, 4950 i get a pano with the black areas. with a height of 4000 and 4500, the black areas are gone, but of course the top and bottom of the circle/sphere are missing. is this a limitation of the lambert e.a.a. projection? thanks, slate --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "hugin and other free panoramic software" group.
