Hi

today I investigated some reports about enblend / enfuse segfaulting or
otherwise quitting without doing the job.

the good news: Christoph Spiel's staging branch (rev335) works well (to
mimick a behavior similar to the official branch you have to add the -v
switch. Else it can look as if the program is hanging doing nothing)

the bad news: the version bundled with Ad's latest Windows installer
(and probably with the previous ones too; and with the Windows SDK) fails.

Also the current enblend mercurial repository fails.

Ubuntu users: I've documented the workaround at [0]

users of other Linux versions: same as Ubuntu (would be nice if users of
these platforms could also update their respective wiki pages linked
from [1] - enblend is no longer managed with CVS as Andrew moved it to
Mercurial)

Windows users: somebody will need to update the SDK so that Ad can
replace his. My Windows setup is currently in a bad state, not sure I
can do that.

OSX users: IIRC Harry has been using the staging branch already for some
time?

Yuv
