For what it's worth, I tested 4007 and 4012 on my 64-bit Windows install, and both crashed at launch when launched after setup. 3975 launched fine. However, 4012 not working seems to be intermittent - I've successfully launched it several times, with no discernable differences (launching it several times in succession has a 2/3 failure rate, but that's a very limited test)
However, using both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of 4005 that I had built, I had no trouble.
