No-one here is saying that users should compile Hugin themselves, and Yuval certainly isn't saying that. I don't think users on Linux should be compiling it either. I could probably buy a copy of Windows and create a Hugin installer, but since I don't use Hugin on Windows that installer would get absolutely no QA. The installer needs to be maintained by somebody who uses Windows*, this is why every time somebody asks for a Windows installer we say "sorry there isn't one, would you like to take charge of it?". * though the .exe files could be cross-compiled on Linux with mingw, this would have a number of advantages. -- Bruno -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "hugin and other free panoramic software" group.
