Aha. Now that I look back at an earlier pano, I see the same problem: a few wrong control points between image 0 and unrelated other images; four to image 2 and three 3 image 4 in that case. > Have you tried with cpclean? As best I can tell, it's not yet in the FreeBSD port of Hugin.
