'final images' looks like a typo to me. It's only one final image, otherwise the following 'has' needs to be 'have'. The phrase itself is a tooltip, right? I also try to find a German expression but sometimes a literal translation makes no sense and the English term is already common in German discussions. 'verbinden' would be a solution but there's also a "Auf die Hintergrundebene reduzieren" in Photoshop which IMHO could be used in a similar way like 'auf eine Ebene reduzieren' if that's not too long.
