Sorry, I have been a bit busy since the new year. I looked at the
assert and indeed, it was originally my error.
I have updated the code to use the datatype of the data structure,
instead of the hard coding it as we have
done in the past. Please download HEAD and try again. It does run on
my linux computer without any problem.
