Hi,
I just tried the (freshly compiled) calibrate_lens program on the
photograph provided by the download link in my last e-mail on this subject.
I had to use the option "m 0.1", i.e. had to allow very short lines, as
the horizontal / vertical edges of the "tiles" (which are actually
aluminium panels, I guess) were not identified as continuing lines.
The ouput (as dumped below) is, however, cryptic. As far as I can see,
there is no documentation whatsoever for calibrate_lens (?).
Others seem to have the same problems with interpretating the program's

Can anybody help?
In principle, I doubt that one should rely on automatic processing when
determining such crucial parameters. It's probably better to invest some
human, i.e. intelligent, preprocessing.
