Hi Dale, Yes, I used hugin. It was a very difficult stitch. The link you posted was my 7th attempt. There is a discussion about the technique at the Hugin Users Group - http://www.flickr.com/groups/hugin/discuss/72157623046153395/ where Janne gave his recommendation on the approach. The key is to specify the lens you use as a really wide angle circular fish eye, even when it is not. Janne suggests that ideally you would specify the input image lens type as orthographic which is not an option with Hugin.
