I forgot to say that the same problem happens with the first 2010 release.

Hi Harry,

sorry I can't do that (don't understand that), but tomorrow evening a friend will visit us and for him it would be no problem to that action. The problem happens with a Powerbook G4 867.

Hi,
Can one of you (Ralf and/or Carl) do an "otool -L /usr/lib/ libiconv.dylib" in a terminal window? (mind the uppercase -L)

I expect it will say something like:
/usr/lib/libiconv.dylib:
/usr/lib/libiconv.2.dylib (compatibility version 5.0.0, current version 5.0.0) /usr/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 1.0.0) /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 111.1.1)
But I just want to make sure.

OK, just downloaded and tried it.... I can confirm this for my PPC G5
running 10.4.11. This is from Hugin.crash.log:

Host Name: doppelhertz

Report Version: 4

Command: Hugin
Path:

Parent: WindowServer [68]

Version: 2010.1.0-svn ()

PID: 3736
Thread: Unknown

Link (dyld) error:

Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libiconv.2.dylib

/Users/carl/hugin/20100118_hugin_2010-1-svn4892/Hugin.app/Contents/ MacOS/../Libraries/libwx_macu-2.8.0.dylib Reason: Incompatible library version: libwx_macu-2.8.0.dylib requires
version 7.0.0 or later, but libiconv.2.dylib provides version 5.0.0

...and the same is true for hugin 2010.10 svn4837 while 2009.4 works
like a charm.
