then you should be sorely disappointed for a long time - Hugin has
been writing to the Windows registry ever since I remember.

now plug-in installers can assume a default {apps}\Hugin folder, try
to read the new registry key and override the default with the value
from it. And of course, leaving the last word to the user to manually
set the target folder for the installer.
If I get a useful Windows system up and running again, I'll try to
make such a plug-in installer for enblend-enfuse.
