Hi All, Thanks to some debuging help from Thomas Modes, I can now declare the general Panini projection to be a working function in hugin / panotools.
The only remaining glitch I know of is that the fast preview window often garbles the display of squeezed views, when the source is multiple images (i.e. a stitch). It works fine when reformatting a single image, though, and the slow preview works correctly in all cases. I don't think this is a simple bug, more likely some redesign will be needed, but it is certainly not a show stopper. A new wiki page on it is well along: http://wiki.panotools.org/The_General_Panini_Projection. A 7zip self installer of my 32 bit Windows build: hugin-2010.1.0.4920.exe, is on the ftp site at http://tksharpless.net. Click "Free Panoramic Software" to get to the ftp site. Enjoy! -- Tom
