This is an interim 'beta' primarily useful for users wishing to try
Hugin development snapshots, the final release is likely to have
further bugfixes and maybe API changes.
You might wonder what happened to 2.9.15 and 2.9.16, these have been
skipped, the next stable release will now be 2.9.17 (until then the
current stable release is still 2.9.14).
Clarifying this for Hugin users:
To build the current Hugin trunk you need this beta or an equivalent
libpano SVN snapshot.
To build 'stable' Hugin 2009.4.0 or 2010.0.0 (due to be released
soon, though some help would be appreciated) you have a choice of
either the existing stable libpano13-2.9.14 or this beta.
The only reason why you would rebuild an old Hugin to link to the
'new' library would be to use the General Panini projection.
Note that the various versions of the library are not binary
compatible, both Hugin and autopano-sift-C link to libpano13. If in
doubt you need to build and install the new libpano13 then rebuild
the other applications.
