I have a bunch of images that share the same feature: An
edge of a large picture frame. I'd like to align these
images by using the straight line control points; do I
make a new straight line for each pair of images that I
couple with this feature:
Line 3 for Images 0 and 1
Line 4 for Images 0 and 2
Line 5 for Images 1 and 2
etc.
or do I select the same line for all points that are along
that feature?
Line 3 for Images 0, 1, 2, etc. (LEFT edge of picture frame)
Line 4 for Images 0, 1, 2, etc. (RIGHT edge of picture frame)
etc.
In other words, are all the straight line control points
that I place along a particular straigh line feature
supposed to be marked as part of the same straight line
(Line 3, Line 4, Line 5, etc.), or does each new pair of
coupled images get its own straight line for marking the
SAME feature?
Sincerely,
Michael Witten
P.S.
Is it generally a good idea to add as many control points as
you possibly can, or is it unnecessary (if not detrimental)
after a certain threshold?
