This way of communicating is very bad etiquette. Please don't do that again. When you are told that the communication channel is the mailing list, please stick to the mailing list; and what goes on the GSoC webapp does not need to be spammed again here. I am reading the list and I reply to the list if I have something to say, and so do the other mentors. If I feel the need to communicate in private with you, I will let you know. On the list I am using a dedicated email alias. Writing to it is a waste of your time because it filters out everything that is not a public mailing list message. Students proposals are evaluated on a first come first served basis, not on a most loud first served basis.
