Like more and more people, I own a "smart"phone with a digital camera that has nothing to envy to current point and shoot cameras (not talking about reflexes here...).
The only technical information that you can get from the manufacturer is the focal lenght, which seems to be around 3.85mm. I found that I had to use the "equivalent" value which was 37 mm (for the iPhone at least... but if we are logical, it should be almost the same for any other phones... like my droid/milestone ?). Anywho... Hugins works like a charm, but I always get "very bad alignment" because of the lack of infos on the lens and so on. Do anyone tried using the photos from your phone's camera to do panoramas with hugins? Did you manage to do something? And what where the settings you used? Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "hugin and other free panoramic software" group.
