Hello Jake,

I checked with my Ubuntu 10.4 runing in a VirtualBox virtual machine:

In System > Administration search for libboost-filesystem.
You will find:
libboost-filesystem-dev
libboost-filesystem1.40-dev
libboost-filesystem1.40.0

First I would try to install just the two 1.40 versions.

If it doesn't work also try
libboost-filesystem-dev

Please post your results.

Good luck,
Jan
