Hugin supports input photos wider than 360degrees.

When loading, set the input projection to equirectangular or panoramic
(cylindrical) and estimate the field of view. Set control points as
you normally would, but connect the image to itself, optimise
'Positions and view' then stitch.

This won't blend the seam though. An alternative is to just cut the
picture into two, and stitch these back together in Hugin.
