Every one has to do it once in his live. This is the hard way to learn, not to
work as root.
I did it. I know others.
Heh. I knew a guy who wrote a purge script.
It was recursive.
It ran as root.
One day, he noticed that files starting with "." weren't being
deleted (e.g. .tmp)
So he add .* to his list of things to work on.
He forgot about ".."
His script escaped from its hidey hole and trashed ... the main office server
store.
It wasn't me :-)
