It is a well-known issue for enfuse (not a bug).
I already suspected that it's meant as a feature, hence I didn't file a bug report.
Several mailings dealt with this subject, being [1] the latest. I even filed a report for it [2] after having several questions on it for my ImageFuser.
This should have been an option, not the default behavior in order to keep compatibility and for ease of use. Or at least there should be a parameter to deliberately choose the page.
In my opinion enfuse 4 got far too complicated for most users. I recommend using version 3.2 instead and in most cases this solves problems. Same applies to enblend...
