The problem the author had with the 'high distortion coefficients' made me have a quick look at what the assistant does - haven't used it in a while. It seems to me that it tries by default to calculate the b parameter. Is the possible gain from that so big that it justifies the problems that might arise from insufficiently overlapping or parallax-encumbered images? After all it's easy enough to manually reoptimize if lens distortion is an issue. Maybe there should be a place in the assistant settings tab where the users could set which parameters they want optimized, with some conservative default. with regards Kay -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hugin and other free panoramic software" group.
