Go ahead and flesh your ideas as Blueprints at [0]. This will give them a better chance to survive the unstructured chatter of a mailing list with short memory. Eventually I hope that we will use the Blueprints feature to flesh out future Google Summer of Code or similar projects, when a student has about three months time to work full time on making a Blueprint reality.
