Let me assure you that Python is much easier to begin with than C++, and this is one of the resons why I am developing the plugin interface, so that the threshold for using the hugin body of code becomes lower. eventually, once I've consolidated the code to integrate smoothly, I will need builder support to port the code to all supported platforms if that is at all feasible.
