The bug reported here https://bugs.launchpad.net/hugin/+bug/704328 no longer is a problem. Everything (i mean the filenames) are back as intended. Did something else change, or was that some other weird coincidence? I did not reboot, I just have overwritten hugin with the newest build from tonight, and the problem is gone...
