This fix, or actually work around, is still in the code and checks for running on Leopard and on ppc. We are now on 2.8.11 but I haven't seen a wxwindows bugfix yet, so I'm still using the work around. However, Leopard on Intel has now issues.
I created a version without the patch. Please those on Leopard, both on ppc and intel, check this version.
