Just a reminder that the deadline for student applications is
tomorrow (Friday) 19:00 GMT. As with past years we expect most of
the applications to be last-minute.
These lists are projects we have identified, but there are many

Our experience in previous years is that well defined projects with limited
goals are the most likely to succeed.
Of the items on the ideas lists, I would identify these projects as
ones that can have well defined and limited goals:
* Zooming for the fast preview
* Colour management
* Seam optimisation in enblend/enfuse
* Integration of lensfun lens database
* tCA chromatic aberration correction
* PSD/PSB output for Hugin/enblend/vigra
* vertical feature identification for automatic straightening
