I just ran up Ubuntu 11.1 64bit and selected Hugin from the package manager. It was called "Panorama" but seems to be the 2011.2 version.
When I try to run it, I get this message. I'm a Linux noob, so this is probably a simple one to resolve. Configuration file "/home/rich/.kde/share/config/panoramarc" not writable.
