FWIW I'd like to add that the Windows EXE runs just fine under Wine
(at least here on my Kubuntu 11.4 32bit system). I used this command
line:

wine multiblend.exe --bgr -o xx.tif $(winepath -w <images>)

with <images> being the images to be blended. Note the use of winepath
to make the EXE think it's reading windows paths, and note also I
needed the --bgr switch here as well. This BGR thing happened to me
recently using opencv which also annoyingly swaps the R and B
channels. Any relations of multiblend to opencv?

And... it definitely feels fast :)
