Hullo All,
I have just done a Fedora build of the default branch tip.
Thomas has now integrated the lensfun library for reading and writing lens parameters.
The source builds OK, but you do need lensfun-devel for the build.
The build runs OK, and after loading images you can go to the 'Camera and Lens' tab, select your images and select 'Load lens...' and you get the choice of loading lens data 'From ini file' or 'From lensfun database'. I was unable to find any data to suit my camera/lens, but that's not surprising as it was a fixed lens point-and-shoot, and the exif data it writes doesn't include a lens name/model. I can only assume it is all working OK. It does come up with database entries, just that are not for my camera/lens.
I have yet to try writing lens data.
If you have the ability to build from source, give it a try. It will be interesting to hear how it goes.
For info, I have lensfun-0.2.5-5 installed from the Fedora repository

Cheers,

Terry Duell
