Hugin is using the exiv2 library for reading exif data. So I assume the used exiv2 version does not yet support your lens. But you can enter the lens name in the load distortion dialogue (maybe something like "Sigma 18-200 II DC" is sufficient). > A check of the exif data and the lensfun data reveals a minor difference > in text defining the lens. > The exif data has " Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 II DC HSM". No, for Pentax the exif data has only a numeric code for identify lens ;-) So the printed lens name depend on the used tool -> see above. > The lensfun data has "Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM", which is in > the same style as other Sigma lens in the lensfun database. > Does the lensfun <model> have to be a verbatim copy of the exif "lens ID" > or "lens type"? > No, lensfun is using some kind of regex. See http://lensfun.berlios.de/lens-calibration/lens-calibration.html for a detailed description.
