Hi Paul, I am not sure, but it looks like there is no compiled package for your version of ubuntu (trusty). Take a look at the page you've mentioned ( https://launchpad.net/~hugin/+archive/hugin-builds) where we can see precise, quantal, raring, saucy and others but trusty.
Trusty is mentioned above, but down there, where the packages are listed, it is not.
