Sometimes optimising a large number of images doesn't go well, and one might like to optimise a small set, then add the difficult images one at a time.

Is there a way to eliminate individual images from the optimiser, and then add them later?

This feature has worked in the past simply by turning off images in the preview, have you tried this? It might work.
