Would it makes sense to use Hugin's control point algorithm to find similar 
photos in a large body of photos?
I mean the stitching process does essentially exact that, although just 
among a relatively small set of photos.
Could this be scalled up to 100k photos?
Couldn't the control point information stored in a scalable index (like 
Lucene or Solr) for later quick lookup?
