I haven't been using Hugin for a while. So I've forgotten where
everything is exactly.

In the advanced settings for "optimization", you can manually select
what to optimize.

The workflow I'd recommend would be to optimize normally (maybe even
with the assistant: no special stuff necessary), and only then add the
last picture to the project.

Next, in the advanced settings, you optimize nothing except the
roll/pitch and fov of the last picture, and the TrX/TrY/TrZ that you
mentioned. That should make that last picture "fit right in".
