I can not reproduce this with hugin 2015.0.0+dfsg-0ubuntu2~trusty from ppa:hugin/hugin-builds on Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (amd64). What flavour of linux Mint do you use? Have you used Hugin before on this installation? If yes, can you try to move $HOME/.hugin* out of the way and retry starting hugin? Can you start hugin from the command line and send the output? Done > E: Unable to locate package panini The Panini Perspective Tool is not packaged currently , neither by Debian, nor Ubuntu nor the Hugin PPA Packagers. I don't remember the reason for this, but the latest release of panini is from 2012, this may be a reason.
