I am new to Hugin - I get exacly the same problem. The result is that even though the preview looks good, the result is a mess. At first I had a photograph of the sky which was hard to map because the clouds had moved quite a bit. I added control points manually and the preview looked fine. I was not able to align, and the sky appeared on the ground when stitching. I ended up deleting the additionatal image of the sky, but this has not helped. I still cannot align, as the module crashes every single time. I have 16GB of RAM, 2 GB NVIDIA GEFORCE 740M and Windows 8 64 bit, i7 Quad-Core. The preview gets blurred after stitiching, but I don't know if that matters. I don't have any previous versions downloaded to roll back to... Is there a download link for a "working" version somewhere, as this version seems to be riddled with bugs... Thanks
