Hello Kai, Have you seen this tutorial already, "Stitching flat scanned images <http://hugin.sourceforge.net/tutorials/scans/>"?
Your pictures are of a flat image (the painting). I think the settings you will find in Hugin are for regular panoramas only, where the camera should only rotate or have limited, small translations.
