Why is there a thawSTArray :: Ix ix => Array ix elt -> ST s (STArray s ix elt) but no equivalent thawIOArray :: Ix ix => Array ix elt -> IO (IOArray ix elt) for the joint hugs/ghc IOExts library. Secondly, why is there no hugs implementation of IOArrays in hugs june98? The extensions library report claims that there should be.
