Excuse me, I have problems to use Hugs 1.4. In fact, the problems is not to
use, but to start (to install de necessary software).
(EXCUSE ME MY BAD ENGLISH!!!! I'm don't speak english continuosly, I speak
Spanish because I live in Argentina).
First: I want use the Haskell by my studies of Funcional Programming. I need
it very much. I (did) take from your page in Internet the hugs-January1998
file, and I (did) decompressed this file in my machine.
My machine is a 386 with DOS 6.x and Windows 3.1 (16 bits),I have the
Borland C++ compiler (version 3.1). I want use Hugs in this machine.
After a big job making the hugs.exe file (using the files in \bcc16
directory and reading ,or editing, the necesary files like options.h and
config.h)... Now, I have the hugs.exe file . But, when run hugs.exe and
after de messages of "loading prelude" and other (that I don't remember
exactly), interpeter stop (leave to DOC prompt) whit the message: FATAL
ERROR: gcCStack.
If you know how solve my problem, tell me, please. By the other side, maybe
you have other solution or, directly, the hugs.exe file ready (compiled to
use in machines like my).
Again, I so sorry my bad English. If you don't understand me, or you need
more information about my machine or configurations or software... tell me
(I can't write english but I can read it). Very, very, very thanks. (Or in
